Y-type strainers are used in pipes to protect pumps, meters, control valves, traps, pressure-reducing valves, solenoid valves, regulators, and other equipment. When fluid enters the filter, its impurities are blocked. When cleaning is required, the removable filter element can be removed and reloaded after handling, making it extremely easy to use and maintain. 

It is highly recommended to install a filter in front of the main valve body on the pipe to protect the valve and equipment's regular use and avoid impurities affecting overall performance.
